It’s not been anything that happened by accident, and it’s not an accolade we’ve stolen. When it comes to the size of the portfolio we manage in Brighton, we are only outdone by the two big boys in Brighton, but when it comes to who lets the most properties, pro rata, there is only one winner, and we’ve done it in style, year after year. So, whilst other landlords and agents are franticly trying to get the remaining properties tenanted, we are happily spending our time making sure our students are moved in safely and happily and our landlords are getting paid.
Now I’m not going to give the easy steps so we can be copied, but it’s not that complicated. We price properties correctly by knowing our market. We market our properties as well as, or better than anyone else we see, and we work hard. That, and the underpinning Eightfold Property philosophy of having integrity is really all it takes.
Our take on social media and knowing where our target audience consumes it is key, spending our marketing budget carefully and thoughtfully are also key components, but most of all, it’s having a bloody great team who love coming to work and all pull in the same direction.
So really, this post is not just to say WE HAVE LET ALL OUR STUDENT HOUSES again, but it’s also to say thanks to our amazing team. It’s a cliché I know, but if the team works, the dream works.
